Reliability is crucial in firefighting. Our castings meet stringent safety standards, ensuring flawless performance under pressure. We play a vital role in safeguarding lives and property with high- quality components for fire suppression systems.

Our Fire Safety Equipment Investment Casting Process

Here, we break down our investment casting for firefighting equipment, from the initial stage to the finished product.

Molding and investing

  • Affixing wax molds to a sprue to create a runner tree.
  • Placing the tree in a rainfall sander for even coating.
  • Multiple coats and drying cycles for creating robust ceramic casts.

Cast preparation and pouring

  • Placing ceramic casts into pre-heated ovens to remove moisture and wax.
  • Collecting molten wax for recycling and reuse.
  • Pouring molten metal into the hollow casts for component formation.

Casting tree break-out and initial separation

  • Knocking out components from the ceramic castings.
  • Detaching individual components from the tree.
  • Deburring and fettling stubs and sharp edges.

Planning machining allowance and setup

  • Identifying and marking critical and non-critical surfaces.
  • Calculating the total machining operation to be carried out.
  • Finalizing fixtures to remove local distortions and preserve dimensional integrity.

Primary and secondary machining (optional)

  • Rough facing, milling, and drilling as-cast parts.
  • Secondary machining for precision threading and mating surfaces.
  • Honing, broaching, and other special operations as required.
